Dr. Matthew Weiner graduated from the University of Michigan medical school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his general surgery residency at New York University Hospital in New York City.
Zoë joined the Pound of Cure team in 2021. She graduated from the University of Arizona with her B.S. in Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences and completed her dietetic internship at Tucson Medical Center, where she first met Dr. Weiner. She has also earned her Master’s Degree in Sports Nutrition and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Nutrition and fitness drive her passion for helping others reach their health and weight loss goals.
Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Deidre Schodroski assists Dr. Weiner in the operating room and is an integral part of your preoperative and postoperative care. Deidre also provides non-surgical weight loss services.
Sierra earned her MBA from the University of Arizona and BS in Public Health Management and Policy from Oregon State University. With a career shaped by diverse experiences across the healthcare system, she is passionate about driving operational excellence and ensuring an effortless, personalized, and innovative experience for every patient. Her leadership style is rooted in collaboration, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing modern medical practices.
