What the tool accesses. When our channel owner connects the channel, the tool stores an encrypted sign-in token and our channel's ID. It uploads the videos our staff approve, adds their captions, and reads our own videos' titles, captions and view statistics. It also reads public comments on our own videos, including each commenter's public display name, so our staff can see which questions viewers ask. When a comment is removed from YouTube, we remove its text and name too.

How we use and share it. We use this information only to publish our videos, measure how they perform and decide what to cover next. We do not sell YouTube data or share it with anyone outside our practice, except service providers that host our systems for us. The tool does not place or read cookies on the devices of people who watch our videos.

Removing access and deleting data. Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account security settings page or by disconnecting the channel in our tool, which deletes the stored sign-in token right away. When access is removed, or when you ask us through the contact details below, we delete the YouTube data we stored within 30 days.
