My friend has chronic nausea and hunger after VSG. What does it mean?
Nausea and vomiting are typically a response to over eating in the early stages after surgery. With a sleeve, however, in the later stages after surgery it is possible that nausea could be caused by a complication of the stomach stretching lengthwise. An evaluation by a surgeon may be necessary.

Can you explain a bipartition and will it help with my acid reflux?
A bipartition VSG is a very new surgery. It’s similar to the SADI procedure but slightly less complicated to perform and will, hopefully, be safer for the patient. The problem with the bipartition is that it is so new and therefore not recommended until it has been well studied.
